   CHINA-U.S. AUTO PARTS ECONOMIC & TRADE FORUM.   

    I am pleased to invite you to join a Trade Mission, which is organized by U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce (“USCCC”) (http://usccc.org) to attend the first China International Auto Parts Expo (http://www.iapechina.com/english/F/01/default.asp).

    This special event will be held in Beijing from November 29 to December 1, 2007. This inaugural event is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and co-organized by the Independent Motor Vehicle Dealers Association; China Federation of Industry & Commerce Auto & Motorbike Parts & Accessories Chamber of Commerce ......

    Participants of this event will come from all over the world including EU, Japan, Korea and other countries. U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce has reached an agreement with Genertec International Advertising & Exhibition Co., Ltd., the company that is appointed by the Ministry of Commerce to manage the expos to host the China-U.S. Auto Parts Economic & Trade Forum and Business Matchmaking Meeting on November, 30. The Forum and Matchmaking Meeting will be held during the expos at China International Exhibition Centre. It is specifically dedicated to U.S. auto parts companies that are interested in expanding their business overseas.

    This special event will present an unusual opportunity for U.S. auto parts manufacturers to cost effectively build their brands, market their products, and seek business partners in China. Each participant will be given:

    1.a 10 minutes (about 20 minutes including translation) session to showcase its products, technology, and company in front of over 100 audiences;

    2.a booth (table) for one afternoon to meet with existing and potential customers and business partners;

    3.a customized designed match making program to meet at least three (3) highly qualified, selected Chinese companies that meet certain criteria as designated by the member of the U.S. Delegation; and

    4.plant visit to select potential business partners.

    In addition, the Delegation will attend the Grand Opening Dinner at the People’s Great Hall on November 29. During the Expos, U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce will host a private meeting between the Delegation and a senior leader from the Ministry of Commerce.

    The cost for participating in this event is US$350 excluding traveling, lodging and incidental expenses. U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce will provide certain assistance for travel and hotel arrangement. Interpreters will be provided free of charge during the two days (November 29 and 30) arranged by Genertec International Advertising & Exhibition Co., Ltd. In the event that members of the Delegation will make plant visits to certain companies, USCCC will assist in this regard. The cost will depend on the number of days, cities to be visited, and personnel required.
