Happy New Year!  On behalf of the U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce (USCCC), we wish you good health, joy, and prosperity in the Year of 2024 and the coming Year of the Wood Dragon.

To celebrate the arrival of The Year of the Wood Dragon, USCCC will host its 27th Annual Chinese New Year Dinner Reception on Thursday, February 22nd from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Phoenix Restaurant in Chicago’s Chinatown. A traditional Chinese dinner will be served to welcome the Chinese New Year.

The Wood Dragon will commandeer the calendar or “Jia Chen” Year in the Chinese Stem and Branch System on Saturday, on February 10, 2024, and reign until Jan. 29, 2025.  Dragon represents majesty, energy, strength, bravery, and good luck, and the Year of the Wood Dragon will bring about growth, progress, and abundance. At the same time, according to “Mother Earth Scripture,” there will be challenges and we will all need to work together for peace and prosperity.  USCCC sincerely invite you to join us to celebrate this extraordinary occasion and to begin another year of co-operation, friendship, peace, and prosperity.

A registration form is hereby enclosed, and please register as soon as possible.  You can also register online at www.usccc.org. Please feel free to contact Mai (maihoang@usccc.org / 312-368-9029) or me (sivayam@usccc.org or 312-368-9030) if you have any questions. Thank you once again for your kind support.
