Indonesia Visa
Important changes to Indonesia Visa Requirements: Indonesia now requires a Letter of Approval for business travelers traveling to Indonesia for purposes other than simple business meetings, for example trainings, technical purposes, visiting factories, etc.).
Please see below for further details about the Letter of Approval.
Money Order Fee - Effective, October 4, 2017, for all visa and passport services that require money orders, USCCC will charge a $1.20 money order fee.
Business Visa Requirements
A business visa is intended for people traveling to Thailand for business meeting, seminars and transactions, and non-paid commercial activities.
1. Valid Passport

The expiration date must be greater than six months from the date of entry of the visa for which you are applying

There must be at least two blank pages
2. Two (2) Completed and Signed Online Application Forms

Indonesia has transitioned to an online visa application. Applications forms must be completed online at the Indonesia Consulate website:https://consular.embassyofindonesia.org/. Once completed online, please print two copies of proof the entire visa application and submit the proof of application with the rest of your visa documentation.
3. Two (2) recent passport style photos

Full face, front view, no hat, and against a plain white background

It should be about 2 x 2 inches

It must be on glossy paper

Go to your local CVS, Walgreens, or Kinko's to get your picture taken
4. Business Letter from applicant's company in US

The letter should be written on company letterhead

Must include the name and title of the applicant

Provide a description of the purpose of the visit, probable duration of stay, the type of visa applying for (multiple or single entry, business visa)

An executive of the company or human resources must sign the letter
-
The type of visa applied for must match the visa requested in both the business letter and invitation letter

This letter must be original
5. Invitation Letter from Sponsoring Company in Indonesia

The invitation letter should be written on Indonesia inviter's company letterhead

Must include the name, title, and passport number of the visa applicant

Provide a detailed description of the purpose of the visit, probable duration of stay, type of visa applying for (multiple or single entry, business visa), organizations and places to be visited, and indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and provide the contact information in Indonesia

A copy of the invitation letter is acceptable
6. Letter of Approval from Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta.

If you are traveling to Indonesia for any purpose other than simple business meetings (trainings or technical reasons), your must obtain an approval letter from Immigration in Indonesia. Immigration must send the approval letter directly to the Consulate where you are applying for the visa. Below is a list of consular jurisdictions for Indonesia. Your state of residence determines which Consulate your application to and which Consulate the Letter of Approval should be addressed to. Please take into account the additional time needed to obtain this Letter of Approval from Indonesia.

For multiple entry business visas: In order to apply for a multiple entry business visa to Indonesia, applicants must provide proof of being granted a previous Indonesia visa. Please include copies of previous Indonesia visas. If visa is in a expired passport, please provide a copy of the bio-data page of that passport.
Limited Stay Visa Requirements
A Limited Stay Visa is a single entry visa issued for a visit that is related to paid work activities and to other purposes such as investment, research, family unification, performance, sport, social activities, retired/senior citizen, etc.

The expiration date of passport must be six months greater than the length of the visa for which you are applying. For example, if applying for a six month visa, you must have at least 12 months remaining on your passport.

5. Limited Stay Visa Authorization Letter from the Indonesia Directorate General of Immigration

The applicant’s sponsor in Indonesia should submit a request for authorization to the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta, Indonesia. Please make sure the notification is addressed to the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate Generals where the visa will be processed.

A copy of the letter must be submitted to with application materials. The original letter should be sent directly to the Consulate General where the applicant is applying.

USCCC accepts cash, credit card or check. If you would like to pay by check, please make the check payable to US-China Chamber of Commerce. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express credit cards. Please note that a 4.9% credit card fee applies to the total cost.
Any additional work required to complete a visa in a timely manner may be subjected to an additional charge. For example, additional trips to the Consulate or personal passport delivery.

USCCC can ship the completed passport, Indonesia visa and receipt using the applicant's FedEx or UPS shipping account or prepaid shipping label. If the applicant does not have a shipping account, we will charge a shipping fee to cover the cost of shipping. The estimated shipping cost is $32.50.
