World Manufacturing Convention

United States of America-China Chamber of Commerce (“USCCC”) is proud to co-sponsor and lead a delegation from the U.S. to the “World Manufacturing Convention”, a high-level conference in Hefei, Anhui Province, China. This event will be held from May 24 to 26, 2018 at Hefei Binhu International Exhibition & Convention Center, Anhui Province. Over 2,000 leaders and executives are expected to participate in this special event. The convention is hosted by Anhui Provincial Government along with a number of organizations.

China Alert: Scammers impersonate the Chinese Consulate

I received calls from Chinese speaking callers impersonating the Chinese Consulate and actually almost fell into the trap. After talking to him for a few minutes, I found his statements were conflicting. Further research has confirmed that it was a scam.

21st Annual Chinese New Year Dinner

To celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Dog and to commence an upcoming year of prosperity, USCCC will be hosting its 21st Annual Chinese New Year Dinner Reception on Tuesday, February 27th at the Phoenix Restaurant in Chinatown, Chicago. A traditional 10 course Chinese dinner will be served to commemorate this exceptional tradition.
We are grateful that the Honorable Hong Lei, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Chicago, will join us on this celebration. In addition, we will give an update of the direction of USCCC and its plan for 2018.
