Marketing and Communications Intern - open until filled

 

Job Duties  

 

  • To assist Executive Director in marketing and public relations for USCCC events, services, and products

  • Write concise articles, bulletins, newsletters, speeches, and other related informative, marketing, and promotional materials for web and print

  • Develop and implement an encompassing advertising plan for USCCC events, activities, and office initiatives including fliers, social media, web, and promotional items

  • To prepare brochures, categorize photo library, collect news on the organization

  • Update USCCC website and social media accounts

  • To provide office support as mailings, front desk coverage, and filing

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Responsibilities

 

  • To develop, update and maintain the USCCC website

  • To maintain PC Base computer system including hardware and software

  • To perform database administration activities, backup and recovery, and network administration

  • To perform simple programming including creating templates and macros for Excel, Word, CRM, and other off-the-shelf software

  • To manage basic audio and video for USCCC events

Non-U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce Positions

 

Associate Field Applicaton Engineer - Mandarin Chinese Speaker - New Vision Display Inc. 

 

General Purpose:                       

 

Must speak Mandarin Chinese (fluent or better). Supports Sales activities for display and touch products. Be a technical interface between the customer and the factory during the complete life of the project.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

 

Provide support to Sales team

 

  • Plan and coordinate customer visits and build NVD customer relationship periodically

  • Analyze existing TP and display solutions of a customer for the purpose of finding competitive alternatives

  • Support communication between BDM and factory

  • Advise the customer about different technical TP and display solutions  including their integration into the final product

  • Maintain contact with customer engineers and provide support

  • Ensure smooth communication between the China based factory project management, QA and engineering teams

  • Provide support to QA in terms of explaining failure analysis to the customer

  • Review the product specification and FA and CAR reports and other documentation before sending it to the customer and ensure correctness in terms of content and language

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Degree in physics or engineering preferred

  • 1-2 years engineering experience is desirable but not required

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written

  • Ability to travel, including internationally on short notice

  • Reliable transportation to/from office in Elgin, IL

  • Availability and flexibility to work with China team during their working hours

 

Region/ Country Specific Detail: US Customer Support. Elgin, IL based position.

 

 

Senior Accountant - Mandarin Chinese Speaker - New Vision Display, Inc.

 

New Vision Display, a global manufacturer of liquid crystal displays, modules and touch panel assemblies, has an immediate opening for a full time Senior Accountant in its Elgin, IL office. Successful applicant will have good communication skills, be a self-starter and work well in a team environment. The job requires a BS degree in accounting, 4 years’ experience in a multi-national environment and fluent speaking ability in mandarin Chinese.
