U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce and Changzhou in China are pleased to invite you to “Changzhou Meets Kansas: A Seminar on Opportunities in the Aviation Industry.” A cocktail reception and dinner will immediately follow the seminar.
This special event will be held on Monday, June 15, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Hyatt Regency Wichita, 400 West Waterman, Wichita, KS, 67202. It will provide a platform for participants to meet with government leaders including Mr. Li Chenguang, Vice President, CCPIT Changzhou, to learn about some of the issues relevant to U.S. companies looking to expand their operations overseas.
China is the world’s second largest market for aviation, and the Chinese government has identified aviation as one of the keys for China’s economic growth. The following are highlights:

China’s general aviation sector is projected to grow by 20% annually.

Air traffic in China is expected to grow by 7.8% annually over the next 20 years.

China is striving to join the U.S. and E.U. to manufacture large commercial airplanes, including C919. C919 is currently being assembled in Shanghai with almost $320 billion investment in total.
