This by invitation only Roundtable will bring together the U.S. business community with a high-level delegation from the Province of Liaoning to explore business opportunities between the U.S. and Northeast China.  The delegation will be led by The Honorable Xia Deren, Chairman, Liaoning CPPCC. CPPCC is equivalent to the House of Representatives of a state in the U.S.  Chairman Xia is minister / governor ranked. Liaoning is known as the heavy industrial and equipment-manufacturing base of China.  Shenyang, its capital, is home to BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd., AVIC Shenyang Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., Shenyang Machine Tool Group, and other notable manufacturers.  It has also become the site for China’s largest robotic industry.

Dalian, a coastal city that is known for tourism, is also one of Northeast China’s centers for IT and the automotive industry.  It is the base for IBM’s most extensive global delivery center in China; the extensive operations of Neusoft Group, China’s largest IT solution and service provider; Goodyear’s largest tire manufacturing facility in the world; and many other multi-national companies.  Dalian’s leadership is also strong supporter for outbound investments.  Many companies that are based in Dalian have invested in many businesses and projects overseas.

This Roundtable is a unique opportunity for American executives to meet face to face with some of the most important leaders in China and to learn first-hand about the business environment in Northeast China.

We look forward to seeing you on November 1. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience, as spaces are limited.  We will consider it a personal privilege if we would be contacted at 312-368-9030 for any questions you might have.
